Mine Operations
CSI’s Peace River mine is an open pit operation, mined seasonally by truck and excavator. Our processing plant uses a combination of cleaning and density separation techniques to produce different size fractions of silica sand. A final drying and screening process is utilized prior to shipping products.
Current annual capacity is 500,000 tonnes of silica sand.
Local transportation links include road and rail.
