LaPrairie Works, formerly known as LaPrairie Group Contractors, provides full-service contracting across Western Canada. Core business areas are road and bridge maintenance, road construction, trucking, earthworks, mine contracting and site services. Our primary service centre is located in Grimshaw, Alberta, with 19 further locations across Alberta and British Columbia. LaPrairie Works employs 150 personnel full time. During the summer season, our workforce expands to 300.
Horn River Frac Sand Haul
We recently hauled 54,000 tons of frac sand to a remote continuous shale gas operation in the Horn River Basin in Northeast BC. Our fleet was operational 24/7 and delivered seamless sand supply through road bans and closures.
