As a Dispatcher you are responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with daily frac-sand and other bulk material delivery schedules, coordinating truck equipment and driver resources, and maintaining constant communication with sub-contractor trucking suppliers to ensure that “just-in-time” delivery schedules are achieved.

You will work within project guidelines and with a high priority placed on efficient, transparent and cost-effective trucking operations while managing truck fleet permitting, trip / route planning and journey management.

You will assist with the monitoring of regulatory compliance matters, pertaining to commercial driver hours of service, driver daily logs, pre / post trip inspection records and the necessary reporting to comply with applicable NSC regulations. You will deal proactively with operations personnel, within your area of responsibility, to ensure that regulatory compliance is maintained and that DISCO Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures are being followed correctly.

You will draw upon your industry experience to effectively coordinate larger trucking fleets. You will perform the dispatch function, through effective liaison with operations personnel and customer field representatives. You will report regularly and directly to the Operations Manager or his designate.
